Benefits Enrollment:
November 13-22, 2009
What can I do during benefits enrollment?
2010 Plan Year Highlights
- Plan features and options remain the same for 2010.
- Medical and dental rates remain within the allowed increase range negotiated in the contracts with our health insurance providers: Rates for 2010.
- Part-time and 9/9 Employees: See the amount you will pay per paycheck for medical insurance here.
- There are no rate increases for any other plans.
What should I expect after I enroll?
- Whether or not you make changes to your benefits during the enrollment period, you will receive a Confirmation Statement in Self-Service. If you made changes, your Confirmation Statement will be there within 72 hours of making the changes. If you did not make changes, your Confirmation Statement will be available by November 25. Either way, you’ll receive an email to let you know it’s there. Printed Confirmation Statements will not be delivered through campus mail. View a sample Confirmation Statement here.
- Review the statement to be sure benefits are correct.
- If you have questions after reviewing this confirmation, contact your benefits office.
- If you make changes in life, disability, or long-term care insurance, you may be required to complete additional forms which will be mailed to you after you complete enrollment.
