Military Leave

The university's military leave policy is in conformance with applicable federal and state law. In accordance with an opinion given by the attorney general, all continuous (excludes temporary) university employees working 25 hours per week or more are entitled to a leave of absence with pay for the first 30 regular scheduled work days of military duty during any federal fiscal year (October 1 through September 30) as stipulated in the law when ordered to active or inactive duty. The leave with pay shall not be charged against paid leave or other accrued benefits.
