As an employee at the University of Oklahoma, you have an opportunity to participate in numerous insurance and retirement plans. The insurance enrollment period happens once a year but you can make changes under certain conditions.

As a new employee, you may have a deadline to make a one-time irrevocable choice regarding the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System (OTRS). If you are a current employee, not enrolled in OTRS, but would like to begin contributing, please contact your benefits office to see if you are eligible. Retirement companies and allocations can be changed at any time.

There are additional benefits you may receive as a current employee such as leave and holiday pay along with an employee discount program and recreation center usage.
