Visiting, Instructor, and Lecturer Faculty

Temporary Faculty members with the title of Instructor, Lecturer or Visiting Professor are immediately eligible to participate in Track "A" of the University of Oklahoma retirement plans. Track "B" is not an option for faculty with temporary titles in the first two years of their employment with the University. Track "A" consists of employee contributions to the Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System and employer contributions to the University of Oklahoma Defined Contribution Plan.

Temporary Faculty members are ineligible to receive the benefit of Track "B" until the first day of the fifth academic semester in the same position with the University of Oklahoma. For further details, please refer to the The University of Oklahoma's Defined Contribution Plan Document.
