Earning Statements Frequently Asked Questions

In support of President Boren's Green Campus initiative, the Office of Human Resources is transitioning payroll earning statements to Employee Self-Service beginning April 1, 2009 on the Norman campus. The Health Sciences Center campus completed their transition to online pay statements on January 1, 2009.

An online printable version of the earning statement will replace the earning statements currently delivered through campus mail. Departments with limited or no access to computers will have an opportunity to receive paper copies of their statements. Please join the Green Wave and go online!

Benefits of Electronic Pay Statements include:

1) Online statements save approximately 1.77 tons of paper per year.
2) They reduce the university's costs by $30,000 per year.
3) Your electronic earning statement is available three days earlier than the printed version.
4) It's available through Employee Self-Service 24 hours, 7 days a week.
5) Copies are always within your reach. Electronic pay statements are saved in Employee Self-Service as far back as 2003.
