Who's New in HR

HR is pleased to announce the addition of several new members to our team. Please join us in welcoming them.

Breion Rollins, Health & Wellness Coordinator
Multi-campus

Breion comes to OU with a variety of experience, in several industries. He has worked with audiences such as the NFL, PGA Tour and several non-profit organizations. In Dallas, he was responsible for health promotion for single mothers Breion Rollinsincluding organizing annual Health Fairs that reach over 1000 local area single mothers. He also co-created Roy Williams' (former Sooner) non-profit organization and was responsible for managing annual charity golf and bowling events raising over $500,000.

Breion received his Bachelor’s in Communication from the University of Oklahoma and his Graduate degree in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M.  He is the OU Health & Wellness Coordinator, responsible for Faculty/Staff Health Promotion for Norman, HSC & Tulsa Campuses.

Breion is a fan of any sport, has a passion for personal training, and believes McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets are the greatest invention known to man!

Therese Kierl-Allen, Employee Service Center ManagerTherese Kierl-Allen

Therese joined OUHSC in September of 2008 as the Employee Service Center Manager.  Therese has her Professional in Human Resources certification and is a certified mediator. She has worked in the Human Resources field for over 20 years. Therese is married to Dan Allen and she and Dan have one son, Daniel who keeps them very busy. Therese’s hobbies are her family, traveling, reading and sports.

Lyndi Porter, HR Business Partner

Lyndi Porter was born and raised in Oklahoma City and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. She then moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to pursue her Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. Her graduate research included the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Corporate Social Responsibility, and generational issues in the workplace.  She also worked as an HR Intern at an architectural and engineering firm and as a Project Associate for an HR consulting firm at MTSU and was active in the Society for Human Resource Management. In her free time, Lyndi likes to spend time with her family and fiancé.

Elizabeth Sharon, Compensation AnalystElizabeth Sharon
Norman Campus

Elizabeth is an OU alumnus and works with departments on employment and compensation issues including designing job descriptions, creating new positions, setting up departments and locations in PeopleSoft, and reviewing e-PAFs. She has several years of HR experience with United Design, Robert Half, World Neighbors, and the OK Department of Mines. She is excited to return to Norman with her husband Wes Sharon, a recording engineer, and their three-year-old son, Tanner.

Trey Box, Employee Relations Advisor

Trey comes to OUHSC with more than 11 years of experience in human resource management and employment law compliance in various environments, including manufacturing, nonprofit, health and vocational services, governmental, and corporate.

Trey BoxIn his most recent position, he served as Director of Corporate Resources and Staff Attorney for InterGenetics Inc. Trey also held increasingly responsible roles in Oklahoma County government, including HR Benefits Director and Organizational Development Director for the Office of the County Clerk, and as a 2nd Deputy responsible for organizational development and implementation of technical and strategic initiatives.

Trey received Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Business Management from K-State and Kansas Newman College, respectively, and his JD from Oklahoma City University.  He has been certified as PHR (Professional in Human Resources) by the Society for Human Resources Management since 1998 and completed Civil/Commercial and Employment Mediation training in 2007.
