New Employee Forms and Instructions
Step 1: Complete your I-9 (Employment Eligibility) form |
| This is a federally mandated employment eligibility verification document. This form and the original documents proving your identity and employment eligibility must be submitted on or before your first day of emplyment. You cannot legally be employed without this document. |
| 1. I-9 Form, Section 1 must be completed on or before your first day of employment. |

| 2. Complete Section 1 of the I-9 form |
| 3. Print the I-9, sign and date the form; present it with acceptable documents. |
| Note the following changes to the Lists of Acceptable Documents (page 3 of I-9).

These documents have been removed:
- Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (A#2)
- Certificate of Naturalization (A#3)
- Unexpired Reentry Permit (A#8)
- Unexpired Refugee Travel Document (A#9)
- Form I-151 (A#5). However, Form I-551 remains an acceptable document
