International Students
As a University, we must ensure our international students comply with the regulations and requirements of the U.S. Department of State regarding health insurance requirements for exchange visitors and students.The University of Oklahoma offers two health insurance plan options, Plan I and Plan II. The cost for Plan II is automatically billed to the student's Bursar account every semester. You may upgrade to Plan I or add dependents online at www.macori.com. The additional cost will be billed to your Bursar account.

Waiving Coverage
International students covered under an employer's group plan or plan backed by the full faith and credit of their home country may apply to waive coverage under the University's Student Health Plan. Please read the Waiver Requirements for instructions and eligibility guidelines.
Waiver applications are available at the Student Health Plan Office, Room 242 NEL during enrollment periods each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Students who choose to waive coverage under the University's Student Health Plan must submit an application each semester a waiver is desired.
