Work Schedule:
Schedule: Minimum of 3 shifts a week. Flexible schedule. Schedule changes every semester. There are 3 shifts a day, 7 days a week. Shifts - 7:30am, 3pm, & 9pm. Each shift lasts an average of 2 hours to 6 hours, depending on the day's workload

Job Duties:

Basic kennel cleaning, provide medical care including administration of IV fluids, medications, and injections to domestic and exotic pets.  Assisting with restraining patients, radiographs, blood draws and some surgical procedures.
Able to work nights, weekends and at least 3 shifts a week.
Candidates must be able to follow instructions, be reliable, trustworthy, be able to work independently and function in a high stress hospital environment.
Qualified individuals will have several weeks of training.   Must have excellent work habits and willing to learn.








Minimum Qualifications:
**Animal Lovers** Candidates must be patient, able to follow written and verbal instructions. Required to work independently in a high energetic environment. Must be able to work with dogs, cats and exotic animals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pre-Vet majors, Zoology majors, Biology majors, Pre-Med and Nursing majors preferred or just animal lovers. Previous experience with animals preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Some lifting required. Able to work around urine, feces, blood, needles and medical waste.
