MaxQ is looking for a talented hands-on candidate to fill a Prototype technician in our core product development team. The candidates’ main function would be to aid in the development, fabrication and thermal testing of new products. Job duties range from executing test plans, aiding in the design and construction of prototypes, assisting customers with onboarding MaxQ products and thermal data analysis.
This role will require collaboration with multiple teams to evaluate system requirements before executing the design and construction of prototypes and packaging tests.
Responsibilities
● Operating shop tools such as: CNC machines, table saws, hot glue guns, hand drills and heat guns. (preferred)
● Test lab operations
● Prototype fabrication support
● Data collection, analysis and report writing
● Comfortable working with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

● The ideal candidate would be a sophomore-junior level student
● Hands-on approach to problem solving
● Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks at a time. Ability to elevate concisely any concerns or risks to senior management
